The nearest airport is Gilgit, approximately a 2.5-hour drive from the lodge, with daily flights from Islamabad.
You may also fly into Skardu, which is about a 6-hour drive. Flights operate from Islamabad, with limited seasonal routes from Karachi.
Gulmit is approximately a 14-hour drive from Islamabad. During summer (May to October), travel via the scenic Babusar Pass is possible. In winter months, access is via the Karakoram Highway, which remains operational year-round.

Gulmit sits at approximately 8,500 feet altitude. Even in summer, evenings can be cool and windy.
