The nearest airport is Gilgit, approximately a 2.5-hour drive from the lodge, with daily flights from Islamabad. You may also fly into Skardu, which is about a 6-hour drive. Flights operate from Islamabad, with limited seasonal routes from Karachi.
By Road:
Gulmit is approximately a 14-hour drive from Islamabad. During summer (May to October), travel via the scenic Babusar Pass is possible. In winter months, access is via the Karakoram Highway, which remains operational year-round.

Check-in: 2:00 PM Check-out: 12:00 PM Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may be charged at half the room rate. Reception is open daily from 7:00 AM to midnight.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation for bookings cancelled more than 14 days before check-in
25% charge for cancellations made 11–14 days prior
50% charge for cancellations made 6–10 days prior
No refunds for cancellations within 5 days of check-in
No-show policy: Rooms not occupied by 10:00 PM will be treated as a no-show and charged accordingly, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Force Majeure: In case of flight cancellations (Skardu airport only) or road blockages exceeding 24 hours (proof required), guests may either:
Use the full amount toward a future booking, or
Opt for a 75% refund
Refunds are processed within 21 days for bank/cash payments. Credit card refunds are subject to issuer policies.

As part of our eco-conscious approach, we discourage the use of disposable plastic bottles.
Guests are encouraged to bring reusable bottles or purchase one on-site. Drinking water is available through refill stations.

Heating is provided from 6:00 PM to midnight during colder months (March, April, October, November)
Electricity & Equipment
Due to local infrastructure limitations, only essential electronics such as laptops and phone chargers are permitted in rooms. The use of high-power appliances (kettles, heaters, irons, hair dryers, etc.) is strictly prohibited.

Washing machine available at PKR 1,000 per load
Operates only during grid electricity availability
A self-service ironing facility is available, also subject to electricity availability.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted inside the premises.
Weather & Packing
Gulmit sits at approximately 8,500 feet altitude. Even in summer, evenings can be cool and windy. We recommend carrying layered clothing, including a light jacket.
Health & Medication
A basic health centre is available in Gulmit.
Guests are advised to bring:

Motion or altitude sickness medication (if required)
Basic first aid (bandages, stomach medication, etc.)
